They are just so cute. Don't worry about losing some, it happens to all of us. If your polleni have bred once, chances are good they'll do it again, so you'll have more chances to perfect fry raising.

How big are they LOL its more of a case of how small are they, they are still tiny and look lost in a 18x10x10 tank by themselves, but today is the first time they have been taking an intrest in things bigger than fry food so i'm hopeing they will have a growth spurt now, i was feeding my baby Discus with some fish/spirolena/heart mix and thought i'd finely grate some for the polleni fry and they loved it, they are also having ZM300.

Man, i things look huge in the pic's, but about how big are they? In centimeter's please! Keep up w/ the pic's!

Wow, I'm suprised you managed to get such good pics of the fry, mine come out as blurs :look: I hope you have success in raising them :good:
You should of gone to spec-savers  Just compare hem to the size of the sponge filter!

Great pic angel - cute little fella's. :good:

I'm sorry I missed all of this, I've been running back and forth between San Francisco and Ireland and all things fishy have been put on the side line. I was very pleased for you when I had heard they had spawned the first time but then the eggs got eaten but this new news is great. Well done and managing to develop four of these amazing little fish. Great stuff and please keep us posted. I would love a pair of these fish but then again one cant have everything.

Well done and congratulations.

Denis

thanks, its funny when i was trying to find this fish there was nothing about but in the last couple of weeks i've seen a couple of adults being advertised for sale, i'm trying to juggle my tanks around and find a cheap 5ft or 6ft tank so i can get some paretroplus to add to my madagascan breeding collection, but it will mean losing my malawi tank unless i can talk hubby round to expanding my fish room.
regards Angel
