I am gonna take a picture of it and post that soon.

Right now i only have three fish. A Black tetra, a flame tetra, and a serpae tetra.

I am gonna get only 2 more fish :/ for the tank, Which kind should i get? I was thinking about some mollies or swords.

OH Yeah it's only a 10 gal. :D

I wouldn't get any more fish until the tank has cycled.

congrats on the new tank. I'd not add anythiong else until after the tank has fully cycled and I'd stay away from swordtails in a 10 gallon as they need room to swim. I had 2 males in my 10 gallon and they found a way out of the tiny little prison. :-( my guppies seem to love it though.

Do you have Ammonia and Nitrite water test kits? If not you should get them. They will tell you how far the tank is cycled and when it is fully cycled.
If you do have them what are the readings?
It usually takes around 6 to 8 weeks but varies from tank to tank as there are so many things that affect it. :)

What water treatment?
Either leave the tank as it is for at least 8 weeks or get those test kits. :/

nooooooooooooo

ur in the usa....they will be dirt cheap fella........my tank cycled in 2 1/2 - 3 weeks.....worth gettin a test kit tho just to keep track that ur water is crystal......u should be ok with the fish in now...just dont add anymore until ur sure the nitrite n ammonia is nil.......i had a 10 gal with a few more fish in and it went ok :D.....make sure u dont over feed too......food = waste and waste = nitrite n ammonia

good luck with the tank matey

Tek :fish:
