I have a 320L tank which houses my two blue lobsters. They have moulted twice and are now about 5-6 inches.

A friend just had a fire at home and needs to re-house her fish temporarily until she can get power back on and move back in.

We are talking two clown loaches (about 6" each) 2 Honey Gouramis (about 4") each and a couple of dwarf Gouramis along with several tetras

Now i do not have room to house her tank so my only option if i took them would be to put them in the lobsters tank. I have said that i cannot guarantee that the lobsters wouldn't kill any if not all of them. They did live in a community tank quite peacefully but they have moulted again since then and are quite a bit larger now and also they probably consider their home *their domain* since nothing has ever been in with them in this tank.

She is happy with the arrangement ... but... not having kept any of these species of fish before i am worried that the fish may harm/kill/eat my lobsters ... and that is a big no-no.

I really want to help a friend out, but i just don't want to lose my little pals in the process.

Could anyone advise me of the likelihood of my lobsters getting hurt/killed?

I don't know much about lobsters but from what I've read I think your lobsters will be fine. I'd be concerned about the tetras and the clown loaches, maybe even the dwarf gouramis. The lobsters will more then likely try to catch the tetras to eat, they may injure the loaches with them swimming on the bottom and might have a go at the dwarf gouramis with them being small. The other gouramis should be alright as they are larger and don't occupy the botom of the tank.

Hopefully someone with experience of keeping lobsters / fish together can give you more advice as this is only what I think, I'm not 100% sure, sorry.

Maybe your friend should ask around lfs and see if any of them could hold them until she gets everything sorted out.

Thank you Azaezl. So far i'm her only option so heres hoping another solution pops up for her.

where abouts are you in the UK, maybe someone can elp home them from tff?

Yorkshire.

Just ringing around a few of the places i buy fish from to see if they would help, she is willing to pay so hopefully they will :)

You could always divide the tank up- depending how temporary it is, the fish will only need a third or so of that tank, possibly less.
