i have moved my platy fry tank in front of the window as its near spare sockets, theres no background picture on it as you can see, so does this mean it will go green inside, i keep this set of blinds closed, but i would rather have to move it now than spend hours cleaning the algae off later, it looks nice here, and will be pushed for space if i need to move it, i dont really want to have to put a background on it as the fry look lovely in there............. but all suggestions welcome

My tank whenever it was that close seemed to have lots of algae growth.

Nice K-Swiss :good:

I think you will have an algae problem in time-(that looks like an aqua 620t tank) but the lid is different-what is it?

Yes you will deff have an algae or cloudy water problem. Sad to say, a bad move.

awww thankyou xxxx, oh its a shame cos it looks really nice there and i dont need to have the light on either, honestly thort that would be good for the fish, natural light, looks like i have a busy evening then moving my room around again!

i would imagine just putting a backing on the tank would cut out most of the direct sunlight and greatly reduce the risk of an algae problem
