Will They Ever Release?

hi guys and gals, ive had 2 holding ice-blue and they like mouthfull for like a month and havent released yet.
when will they release the fry? or they will not because they are in a community tank and 2 kenyyis availible?
should i seperate them?

I've actually transferred an egyptian mouthbrooder without knowing she had fry in her mouth (without spilling one baby).... In the new quarters, she just spat them out & continued as if nothing had changed....

That's when some people strip the fry themselves. This is kinda controversial. Do a search in this section and you should find topics on it.

I had a yellow lab that held for 34 days before I stripped her, the stubborn little thing. I have found that they typically hold longer in a community setting, likely because they are trying to protect their fry from predation.

I'd either move them, or strip them. Stripping really isn't that stressful if you do it right.
