Will These Fish Get Along

I also hve a question about fish getting alon. I have a new 47 gallon tank and I have put a school of neons int it, some guarmies, clown loaches and a pleco. they have all been in there happy for about 4 days. today a buddy of mine as a birth day present gave me a dusky panther gobey that is about 1 1/2 inches long. will this be a problem because I can not seem to get him to feed and when he gets bigger being that he is a carnavore will he eat my neons.

Help please
How long has your tank been running and is it cycled (did you add ammonia to build a bacteria colony)? If it isn't, then you should return all the fish ASAP and cycle the tank. Otherwise, you are in for a very rough trip and will probably lose most of the fish. You can cycle with fish but it should be done with 3 or 4 hardy fish.

The more fish you have in an uncycled tank, the higher the ammonia and eventualy nitrite will get. Your fish will suffer ammonia and nitrite poisoning and you will probably also end up with ich or velvet brought on by the stress of bad water conditions.

Thanks I have cycled the tank and all the fish are dooing well. the water condition checked out well. my concern is the dusky panther gobby and how it will do in the tank with the other fish, does anyone know when it gets bigger if it will eatmy neon's.

I can't help with the goby as I know nothing about them. You may want to start another thread or ask in the proper section (don't even know where that would be).
