I have gouramis with my neons and they do great together. Dwarf gourami's tend to be very tolerant of other peaceful fish. Giant danio's shouldn't be too much of a problem either! Sounds like a good community mix to me.

Hang on, hang on, hang on! This is a 10 gallon tank, the poster has already been told that giant danios are schooling fish and that his first priority ought to be to either rehome the giant danio or get it into a bigger tank, with conspecifics.

2chain, I fully understand that you may not be able to get a bigger tank and that it may seem excessive for the sake of a single fish, but I did explain that there may well be aggression problems with the danio if it is kept on its own. Adding a flame gourami, a sensitive easily spooked slow-moving fish that also keeps near the surface is likely to lead to trouble, especially in a small tank. You need to sort out the problem you have before you think of buying more fish.

Btw I would not keep giant danios and flame gouramis in the same tank even if it was a good deal bigger and the danios in a proper school; just the constant movement of the danios is likely to be too stressful for the gourami.
