Will Regular Zebra Danios And Glo Fish School?

Hello all!

Due to some bad info passed along at Petco, I bought some zebra danios and Black neons to cycle my tank. They told me that 3 of each was enough for them to feel comfortable... I have been reading more and now realize that they should at least be in a school of 5 or 6 but I don't want any more of regular danios, I want some glofish to add color. I have tried to look online to figure out how fish choose a school and I still can't decipher a simple answer. Do you think my exsisting fish will let some neon bright cousins into their school?

They are the same species and will school.

Glofish and Zebra danios are essentially just different color morphs of the same species (although the glofish color morph is genetically created).

The zebra's wont recongise the glofish being a different colour so will school as usual, same as tiger barbs will school with albino or green variations.

this forum helped me alot, i was scared my yellow zebra danios wouldn't school with the normal ones.
