I got 2 of the nutrafin kits but havent had them on the tanks since i've been changing them around - only ran one the other is still in the box and i was only using the mix included with the kit

I am now going to put them back on the tank with the yeast mix suggested in pinned topic
Do i need a drop checker or bubble counter , i've heard of people using these but not really sure what they do and need some help

So when i get it all working again will the nutrafin kits get the plants to pearl

sorry to be so dim but i am blonde ;)

Sarah xx

most of the tanks have T8 lighting fitted

bubble counters count bubbles, it is just a uide and not much use on a DIY kit as the bubbles produced are radom, and they slow down towards the end at the mixtures life.

Drop checkers measure the CO2 levels, you fill them with 4dkh solution, with a ph of 6.6 and a kh of 4, you will have around 30ppm of CO2.

It is possible that the kits will get pearling, but highly unlikey as it will be hard to get a high enough level of CO2 injected into the tank, what size is the tank?

at the moment they will be going on the 55ltr hex and the rekord 54 ltr

i have run both on the aquaone 6210t and it did so well i took them off lmao my wisteria was growing about an inch a day so i was thinking of keeping them on the smaller tanks for about 8 weeks then putting them both on the aquaone for 8 weeks and so on

Cheers Sarah xx
