Will wild caught neons survive 2-3 days in the mail? And also, will the wild caught neons be more Susceptible to neon tetra disease than the aquarium bread ones?

unless your dealing with a specialised courrier, you`ve no chance, and i`m sure it would take more than 2 or 3 days for mail to reach you from some parts of south america

How do you think they get to your retailer Lol. They would be fine if posted by a reliable person.

Infact to get to your retailer they have to be flown in and in most cases kept in a tank for a day or two then drove out to the shop which is even more stress.

I would imagine that 3 days with no filtration or heating and a build up of ammonia would be enough to finish them off- particually because they are wild caught, i would imagine they'd also be more sensitive to water quality.
Is there any particular reason why you want wild caught neon tetras?

flown in specialist, containers with heat packs, and oxygen injected into the bags, before they are sealed,
then unpacked on arrival and placed in holding tanks and sorted to the diffrent delivery destinations....

and 90% of the fish you see in the local store are tank bread with in the country,

THe person im buying the neons from already imported them from peru and had them for about 1-2 weeks in his quarteen tank. Im not directly importing them from peru.

They are the cheapest I can get. THe ones at the store are $1 each but im buying 25 neons for $10

As long as the seller knows how to pack them properly then they will last 2 days easily, 3 days at a push. As long as they stay warm and bagged with oxygen.

When fish are bagged from exporters in places like peru they are bagged to survive up to about 90 hours.

double bag, bag buddies tablet, stresscaot and/or ammonia detoxifyer, inject with oxygen, at this time of year maybe an ice pack, styrofaom box tohelp keep out the elements and to help contain leaks, cardboard box, and shipping tape??

lol That how I pack my stuff when I'm shipping angels... They are dead sensitive too. But I haven't gotten 1 DOA yet.
