okay im selling my tank and plants, everything BUT inorder to get things in order and ready, i need to remove the sand and prep the plants for sale, now i plant to still dose ferts co2 and all that untill they are sold to ensure good plant growth but can i leave hte plants floating i am removing the sand using syphon to prevent roots breaking and being damaged to much, but will this cause damage and plants rot?

Depends on the plants and how long for.

hm thats the problem, depends on when people buy them haha :) so eventually they will rot is what your saying? even with ferts co2?

i guess i could turn down my lights to like 4 to 6 hours aday to reduce the growth

I'm saying that some do fine, some do badly, some are OK for a while.

Vallis, for example, is very unhappy uprooted.
