I currently have 2 peppered Cory Catfish in my 20 gallon tank and I know that if i get 2 more my tank would be overstocked, so i was wondering if i got 2 smaller catfish, such as the juli corys, if it would work out at all

What are the dimensions of the tank?

What fish (species and numbers) have you already got in the tank that makes you think you are bordering on being overstocked?

Corydoras are a very social fish, it would be far better to increase the numbers of an existing species in the tank than to add 2 julii (which will almost certainly be trilineatus) to 2 paleatus.

+1..... you will be better off upping the numbers of a single species if possible, there is many instances of different species collectively shoaling but it's far from a given and more often than not they wont.
