Hey everyone............I"m about to be upgrading to a 60 gallon tank. I will have platys and dalmation mollys as my livebearers. I'll have 2 platys and 8-10 Dalmation Mollys. I'll also have 4 Angelfish and 2 Dwarf Gouramis with them. If I have the tank heavily planted and lots of hiding places, will I ever have any to survive? I don't want a lot every month, but it'd be nice to have a few to make it every now and then. Thoughts??

As long as there are hiding places, yes some will always survive. It doesn't even take a lot of hiding places. I'm trying to have none of my fry survive, but there are always a few that make it. If you have rocks that have gaps between them that larger fish can't get in between, you'll have survivors.

You may get a few surive in there, but angel fish have big mouths and will surprise you what size fish they can eat.

I've seen an adult angel eat fish of neon tetra size before, which would make life difficult for any fry for the first 6-8 weeks of life.

My molly had fry, we fished out 30 and a few days later found 3 more that had managed to live by hiding under a rock! I have gourami and an angel, you can almost rest assured that some will survive, providing they have some cover.
