Will guppies eat their fry or can they live together?

Can I put balloon molly fry with guppies? I don't think they can fit in their mouths but I don't want them to chase them either.

yes, initally. the first week or so the fry will be small enough to be eaten, but it won't take long before theyre big enough the adults won't bother. if the molly fry are too big to fit inthe guppies mouths, then yes, you can put them back in.

Well, my ten gallon tank has the 8 molly fry. What if I added a divider and gave 1 male and two females like 3-4 gallons of space and when the females have fry I could move them over to the 7 gallon fry tank and let them grow out?

Or since I have 10 ballon mollies should I just leave it as a fry tank?

OOOORRRRR, can I put a male and two females in my 29 gallon? Or am I stocked? I just thought it would be cool to breed guppies....

ive found balloon mollys are the most notorious eaters of fry, but yes all the other fishg wil try to eat them if your fish arent fed enough, i suggest a seperate tank for them, then theyll be fine

i'm not so sure about the molly fry...but yeah...the guppies will eat their fry....so i would suggest that you put the fry into another tank?
