I have been trying to get my tank in balance, and I am beggining to gain the upper hand with a little GSA problem I am having.

If I get in balance and GSA stops returning will it eventually die on the leaves of my plants?

or do thes leaves need to be pruned and removed?

Thanks!!

sorry i have no idea. i'm currently struggling wit hhair algae and it's driving me crazy - if i dont yank it off it'll easily grow to a foot.

just thought i'd reply as i know how anoying it is when no-one answers :-(

have you tried googling it???

Lol!! Thanks! You're right about not being answered.

Still not sure...I am guessing no. None of my new growth has GSA, and older growth still does.

Luckily after adding co2 and dosing Excel the growth in my tank literally has exploded. I plan on trimming all the infected leaves tomorrow.

Thanks again for the reply
