Will Bristlenose Plecs Eat...

Java moss and Java fern? I have to move some fish around and I have 2 little male bn's I need to put somewhere. I have 3 choices. 300l angel tank, loads of java fern, moss wood and algae, 300l tank which already has a male BN, but he doesnt like other plecs much, or my 180 tang tank (last resort).
 
Best option would be in with the angels, however I dont want my plants munched! lol

BN dont munch plants unless they are very hungry

I know they love eating parboiled zucchini. I use that as a treat, and feed mine algae wafers also. However, the algae that grows in the tank is his staple.

Mine get raw zucchini often, that and algae wafers are staples, they get blood worms as treats. 

To put your mind at rest. I have plants in with my 6 adult BN and 100's of fry (around 200litre tank). The plants are untouched lol

Mine doesn't touch plants either. Fed algae wafer at night & courgette or bit of cucumber once a week.
