Will Assassins Snails Kill Apple Snails?

Will assassins snails kill apple snails?
The apple snails are about 1.5cm diameter.

I want to keep my apple snails but I want to get rid of the hoards of pond/pest snails I have. Any other suggestions welcome

EDIT: I've also just bought 4 pink ramshorn snails, will these be okay?

Hi, as far as I'm aware they will only kill small pond snails and baby MTS and leave the adultones alone, so I imagine your apple snails (adults) will be safe

i dont know enough about assain snails to comment on that, however i have a dojo loach and he loves to keep my lil snail issue under control.

i don't really know much about assassin snails. but i've read that they will attack any type of snail. i found this quote on an old topic. they had the same question.

assasins definately will kill your apples - i only know this as a weird neighbour of mine recently decided to get some assasins to see if they could live together (silly tw*t , i told him the assasins would most probably eat the apples)) within 3 weeks he didnt have any apples left and was complaining to me cos he had lost the blues , pinks and reds i had sold him and was demanding i give him some more for free cos the assasin ate them all and i didnt say for definate they would (yes he is a total weirdo)
so NO dont do it
