I was wondering if it was true that amano shrimp will eat moss?

I've heard it from a few sources, and I hope it isn't so, as I really want some for my invert tank.

what... moss? They will be ok, that's why shrimp only tanks are usually moss tanks. they will eat all the algae available or just drop an algae pellet in every few days obviosly depending on how many you have.

They will eat 'left-overs' but you will always ind them picking at something, I really wouldn't worry anout them eating the moss, i feed mine flake if they get any but mainly the hikari algae tablets. I have no moss.
