Hi guys and girls,

My tank is now a year old and i am looking to expand my fish collection. I am a big fan of tetras (have been since we had some neon tetras in primary school) and i have waited till my tank is mature enough to handle them.

I already have some glowlight tetras and kitty tetras along with some cory's.

My tank is 180 juwel vision and my numbers are:

5 Kitty tetra
9 Glowlight tetra
4 panda cories
2 juli cories

I know i can up my stocking gradually as i am under stocked by a long way.

I want to stick with tetras, so i would like to know will all tetra species get a long? and what numbers can i realistically look into getting ?

Thanks
:)

only a few tetra species are boisterous (I can only think of Serpae actually) and if you want to add neons then it would be completely fine.

however, having 3 different tetra species in there might lead to a 'messy' looking tank. The small numbers of each mean they wont schoal as well.

Personally I'd stick to one or two species and up their numbers instead.
