Let's say that my krib fry are stalked and eventually eaten by a tetra when the mom and dad swim to far away. Would the kribs (Or any fish) have a lasting problem with a fry stealing fish?
i doubt it. fish aren't like humans and grudges, as far as i'm aware, is only a human emotion.
they may be abit more cautious on their next batch, but i'm not sure
I have had some fish that "seem" to hold grudges, but I'm not sure if this was normal agression or a grudge in our sence of the word...
One of my Wild Green discus had a grudge against a cardinal tetra after about a week of introducing them, as one cardinal stole some food from them. The discus then seemed to pick on one individual cardinal for about a week after, untill its death a few days later. It never bothered any others in the group after.....Strange.....That said, it's hard to tell if it was an individual cardinal as they all look alike to me
