Is there a noticeable difference in wild caught fish in the aquarium, or any special methods needed to acclimatise wild caught fish into the aquarium?

I purchased a couple of endlers yesterday (aswell as a couple of sparkling gouramis). Short journey from the lfs, lights off on the aquarium, bag floated for over an hour with bits of my tank water added on occasions. Fish netted into the tank. Lights kept off for a good couple of hours. However when the lights where switched on the gouramis seemed perfectly fine but the endlers where a different story.
One had completely gone missing and the other was resting on the gravel right next to the filter intake, not moving at all. This morning I discovered one of them dead and the other still resting on the gravel near the filter.

I do recall seeing something about them being wild caught, but the writing was fading so could have been from a previous batch of fish in the tank. Only thing I can think of is that the stress of moving really got to them with the possibility of them being wild caught fish, because the gouramis where and still are, perfectly fine. The endler is extremely timid whenever you approach the tank aswell. He'll shoot to the other side of the tank whenever I go within a couple of feet of the tank.

I don't know about community fish but most other fish are a lot more skittish if they're F0 or even F1. They're used to different water paramaters also.

yeah they can be less adaptable so you should pay extra attention to what water parameters theya re used to and make sure yours are close to that, if not then drip acclimitise
