I saw these female bettas being sold at a pet store, all 20 of them were the exact same color and were built almost like a female plakat since they were very large bodied than other females like crown tail. Their bodies were grayish black and there fins only had red and blue, the only shiny part was their fins, not body. Could they be a wild cross, or the result of breeding a pair of wild colored bettas.

The female below is EXACTLY like them, except in the store the fins were more blue than green. If I go back I will get a picture.

This should have been moved to other betta section, but here are the bettas being sold. Maye you can help me identify them.

Plakets but I think 1 could be a possible candidate for a VT female. With female PKs, their anal fin can be slightly longer and can be confusing. But they are splendens, wouldn't worry about it. Agree with above though, keep an eye on her for now x

Oh ok, being Plakats I guess that threw me off, the place where I usually buy my betta never sells female plakats, only males, so this was my first time seeing them and i'm not used to such large females. Most female here are light bodied, or all blue, so the dark body and simple coloring threw me off.
