Ok just got back from work to find eggs ..... It’s not my electric blue acara as I know there spot and it’s easy to tell by there behaviour.. Iv never had eggs like this before they are stuck to my tank glass in differnt places all in t top third but spread out ... only fish that occupie this are Colombian tetra eggs look a little big don’t know tho , there isn’t many maybe 30-50 , iv taken the eba out of the list my geophagus are not old enough so it’s Cory or tetra , there is nothing defending the eggs which is making me think Cory but why would they lay so high

Thats corydoras.

They stick their eggs to the glass, plants, hardscape, etc, especially in high flow areas

Definitely cories. FWIW tetras are egg scatterers and most species are light sensitive so won't hatch in the tank. If you are so inclined you can collect the cory eggs (to prevent them being eaten) and many will hatch.

Thanks all I thought Cory eggs I think most have been eaten now but il keep an eye next time , I do have a rather large female she’s a good 3 inch

Funny enough I’d put a internal filter in my tank a few days back aimed straight at the two sides the eggs are .. great info with the high flow
