O.k, well, now I have my whole tank set up, (as seen on signature).

Now, I have seen all that Neon tetras, Platies, and guppies all get along in the same community. I have confirmed this as far as the neon tetras and the platies. But the guppies have a problem with chasing each other. I have 1 guppy who caonstantly chases the other, and the other guppy that gets constantly chased, CHASSES PLATIES!!

Is there something wrong here? The LFS is far from here, I can't switch more fish.

I think its perfectly normal. The neons are very active fish so there goin to do alot of swiming. And by them chasing eachother there either tryin to have fun or establish a pecking order :D

My bad yeah the guppys can do that. just watch out for fin nipping if that starts to happen u need to get rid of the agressive guppy :fun:

There is no fin nipping. The guppi just tries to slam the platy against the glass or somethin.

Yea, the neons chase each other around, but I wouldn't worry bout that,

alright cool. so good luck with that. how do u do that thing where u say what size tank u have and and whats in it¿ my email dosn't work so could u just tell me here :dunno:

Are your guppies both males? If not it could be that the male is chasing the female because it wants to mate. If they are both males, however, they might be chasing each othr and the female platies in a classic case of what I like to call female deprivation. When males don't have females to mate with, they get desperate and try to mate with everything in sight, including other males, and females of other species. Male guppies are very horny little dudes :p
