I have a fluval 120l tank, and I have a large piece of "holy" ocean rock which makes for great hiding for all the fish.

I have: 8 x Pseudotropheus Demasoni 2 red zebras 1 x pleco (dwarf) and 4 x Labidochromis Caeruleus

Due to the ocean rock being a good hiding place for the Demasoni, we don't see much of them during the day, and there seems to be no agression
whatsoever.

Am I just lucky? or is the worst still to come?

please advise me - very grateful

thanks

Rob

Depends wether or not they've already reached sexual maturity.

I don't think they have reached sexual maturity as they are still quite small. I think the Red Zebras are at that stage, as they are quite a tidy size

It's small because most mbuna turn nasty when they reach sexual maturity, and the tank is too small for most of them to swim away from overly aggressive tankmates. If you must try mbuna, go for acei or yellow labs.

Hey,, u mentioned Yellow Labs lol i had 2 of them and i think that they are very active fish an add a lil extra sumthing 2 ur fish tank but they killed a few of my fish like pristella tetras x 3, 2 platies were killed by the yello labs and they attacked my plec non stop they even managed 2 take its eye out i got rid of them tho sold them to a friend and his oscar ate them both hole wb danio
