Yesterday I went for blood worm and fish food...

I got the blood worm successfully; and as we were putting it in a bad I noticed someone...well she came home with me...the fish food didn't. The fish food was the urgent thing as well grr.

Here she is

Awww lovely :)
where you get her from???
Hows the tank looking?
questions questions questions :D

Although I HATE the shop I got her from Peter Barrats (Gosforth). It's right over the road from work and does good blood worm lol.

Amy and Christina are from there (The white one I had - Angel was from there as well).

The tank is ok, I've moved them from the 45 gallon to a 10 gallon, and after whats happened then I'm just going to keep a few of them. They are actually far more excitable and interested in a smaller tank. I'd rather have a few of them in a smaller tank, than lots in a bigger tank and have the same happen again.

Very pretty :D
And i would end up doing the same thing :D

So for being a little of topic
but are more than one female more happy together and tend to leave the others fish alone?
or are they better in an own species tank?

I have mine in a species tank so I don't know but I think they are ok with other fish as a group - Sausagewinkle has hers with other fish I'm sure.

Females are fine to live together; you just need lots of hiding places and plenty plants :)

My new girl (now named Shrimp by my mum!) is doing really well in a community tank, it's just taking her a while to settle in.
The fish in my little picture was a brilliant community fish too, and very friendly :good:

Awesome :D
thanks guys
Im going to put the rock back in as she didn't attack the others so much when it was there as she could hide in it.
If she settles down once its back in then i will keep her and possibly ad another so shes not to bored as somehow my other females seemed to have disappeared :/
