That's a great idea using a water purifier for the tap water going in! I'll definitely do that but I haven't changed the water at all yet.

Wilder-is there a bacterial med you can recommend to me?

Ok, not to sound stupid, but what about my fish that aren't infected? Will this stuff be ok for them?

I would treat the whole tank.
I would check if it wipes all the beneifical bacteria in filter out. As i'm not sure.

Oye do I feel dumb. Many of my fish with the red eyes, are red eye tetras. That is the type of red I see on some of the fish. The owner of the fish store said they are totally fine. Doh! But he did say he was impressed that I even noticed. Nice. Looks like I have ALOT to learn!

Never mind. I was going to ask are you sure the fish eyes shouldn't be red. But when I saw blood shot eyes I thought something was wrong.
