I have 2 questions

1. my pleco died recently he was about 1 year old and coming up to his death his stomach inflated, his rear end raised out a tiny bit and looked as though it had sealed up (no poo coming out for days) Could he of been constipated? Basically his belly was big and he was not feeding or poo'ing.

2. How the hell do you feed a fish thats not feeding peas? i read you feed fish peas if there not eating or look constipated? I always wondered how you feed a fish peas if there not feeding at all. Anyway i tried to feed my pleco peas but he wouldnt take them.

I cant say for sure why your pleco died but I suspect some kind of internal bacterial infection.
If you suspect a fish is constipated adding salt the the tank water is the recommended treatment. (depends on fish species, dosage guidelines can be found online.)

Was the anus enlarged or red and inflamed.

Bloating can be constipation, swim bladder, internal parasites, dropsy.
Were scales sticking out.
The anus can enlarge with internal parasites, dropsy.
Check your fish for when they go to the toilet.

Cook frozen peas for a few minutes in boiling water. Pop out of shell and chop into small pieces and add to the tank.

Research the fish diet needs to make sure there getting a good balanced diet.

Bless Him.
