I've never heard of balloon rams being more sensitive than normal rams. I don't see anything ethically wrong w/ them. Personally though I like normal rams better.

Mikaila : Balloon rams have a genetic defect that affects their swim bladder. Fish with this certain genetic defect are likely to have issues involving their swim bladder during their lifetime. It's especially prevelant in balloon mollies. As I stated earlier, there is a good chance they are very inbred, so they will breed true for the people breeding these fish.
