Why Are All My Fish All Together ?

hey my mate has 6ft fish tank with all Malawis in it and last night when he went in to turn the lights off he seen them all just together no spread out or anything ?

what does this mean if anything ?

how heavy is the stocking are they adults or juvies? it could be saftey in numbers if the stock is quite light

most are adults more less but not fully grown and the rest (5) are fully grown all yellow labs btw
there is about 12 of them in the tank it is near 300L i think

I've got 20 so I definately don't think it would be light stocking. Some just tend to hang out

you can stock more then 12 labs in a 6ft. malawis are ment for heavy stockings anyway.

yeah light stocked imo 12 fish would seek refuge in a group especially when its getting dark ie saftey in numbers if you where to double the stock you wouldnt notice it as much I keep around 30 fish in a 6x2x2 and think that is a light stock considering they are malawis

??? are you agreeing or disagreeing? your 65gal is about half the size of a six foot right? im confused?
