Something in my newish tank has laid some eggs and I don't know who the culprit is!
They are about 1.5mm across and look like little individual pearls. Most (about 15) are stuck to the glass and some (about 8) are stuck to the java fern and amazon sword plants.
I have: 5 white cloud mountain minnows, 3 harlequins, 2 albino corys, 2 clown loaches, an apple snail and a few rogue (very small) snails. Any ideas? If they're snail eggs I'll get rid of them. If not, what do I need to do? Will they survive? Thanks!

i'd say cory eggs but do you know if the eggs are in a clump in sort of jelly or just indiviual eggs?

:good:

They are individual and not in jelly. I assume corys would lay eggs nearer the bottom and these are half way up the side of the tank.

nope their not snail eggs then so their from a fish.

i would say cories as the clowns need to be fully grown which i doubt yours are but correct me if i'm wrong?

cories will lay eggs all over the glass top or bottom or in plants or just about anywhere.

:good:

I think they are cory eggs. I found some pictures and they look the same. What can I do with them? I take it they will get eaten now or when they hatch if I leave them. Help!

i'd say the clown loaches will eat them if you have another tank you can move them there if not you could put them in a breading trap designed for livebearers?

:good:
