Wow! just gave my tank its evening check up and i get in a tizzy cos theres loadsa stuff floating round it. thinkin someone has spilled summin i switch the lights back on and the bits turn out to be guppy fry!!

these are my first so i'm a little bit shocked as the only remaining guppy didnt show to be pregnant! ive counted 15 at the moment but its to late for me to set up another fry tank so i'm sadfully expecting a few casualties by tomorrow.

ive added a few more plants from another tank so hoping they'll be able to shelter
im gonna be shocked for some time!!!

lol, they store sperm so the daddy probably was another fish you don't know. Unless you keep them somewhere, the fry will probably get eaten But congratz on your find!

update on fishes

got me fry tank all set up the morning after discovering the guppy fry and just found a few more giving a total of 17!! looks like there were no casualties during the night after all!

ive been told that they can store sperm for weeks, even monthes at time so im sure youll have another chance
