my LFS sells Angel fish for £8 and Neon Tetras for £2.50 each

Large Pets@Home store sells angels for £5 and neons for £1.75 but the traveling makes it not worth it

I want to stock up a currently empty but heavily planted and well cycled 6ft tank with lots of guppies and tetras and a few angel fish.

I found they sell them for 58p Guppys, Neons 21p and Angels 78p each

No minimum order but ill have to order at least 10 of each type if they are less than 50p each, and delivery is £15

I think that I wont have to spend a lot online to save myself a fair bit of money, I could get 20 fish from LFS for £60, here I could get 80.

What are your thoughts / suggestions from ordering from a company online like this?

Go with them for that money, I'd just be warey of ammonia spikes from adding 80 fish at once.

Both my local LFS sells neon tetras for £1.50 or 5 for £5 or they do small baby ones for 99p each or a deal if you take 5 or more. They also do angelfish £4 to £5 depending which one you want.

What should I do to minimise losses?

I have 2 Rena air 300s (just checked they are rated at 200lph each) will I need additional air? Currently running 2 long strip airstones from each, 2 along the back and 2 in the middle of the tank.

Also if I did add this number of fish in one go...a question on filters
It come with an unbranded large external canister filter with new medium plus I have a spare fluval 405, if I did this I would set it up purely as a 4 level bio filter, plus would have to obv keep a close eye on levels for a while and do 25%/75% water changes as needed. currently the levels are perfect with just plants, snails and some baby crayfish at the bottom (which will be moved) I believe the tank is large enough to hold the fish, not sure of the US Gallons as it was a custom build for a pet shop which went bust, but he apparently paid £6000 for it including stand (I got it for £175!) Is 6ft in length, and I believe 3ft deep by 2.5ft high (Edit apparently its 336gallons), a beast of a thing! the cycled started around sept/oct last year and a few fish have been in it but not much due to money + xmas coming up... but I get paid soon!

Also have a 4ft tank, 2 x 3ft tanks and a small 3 x 1ft fry/live food tanks

As I said, the biggest problem you're going to have is the massive shock on the bacteria from adding all those fish at once.
80 fish in one go is an absolute beast of an addition. The current bacteria can no where near cope with that. You'd most likely being 50-80% water changes daily to try and dilute the ammonia, regardless the size of the tank. Obviously having 330 gallons of water is going to dilute the chemicals a bit, but at the end of the day, it's a massive amount to add at once and I don't think anyone on here will really advise it.

Possibly do a secondary cycle by adding house-hold ammonia (exactly the same as fishless cycling) to try and build up the colony, but that's all you can really do long term.

If the tank is currently empty, as in it has no fish, it isn't cycled. If it recently had fish, as in within the last week or less this may shorten a fishless cycle.

I would do a fishless cycle on the tank. A fishless cycle, done properly, will replicate a fully stocked tank. Once that is done you can add that amount of fish.

FWIT I use Wholesale Tropicals (Bethnal Green) as my LFS and you won't find much better stock than theirs imp!
I have been there when they've been boxing up fish for delivery and I wouldn't hesitate to use them if I ever moved away.
