Hey guys. I just noticed all of a sudden my ammonia dived down from 4 to 0 what the hell

My ammonia has taken about 3 weeks to drop to zero. Upon noticing that i added the appropriate ammonia to raise it up to 4. That took a week, then last night i added it again and it takes does the thing overnight  i guess my filter can handle the ammonia load then?

Now i'll be waiting patiently for the nitrite to go down to zero. It's currently at 2ppm and for the past week it's gradually risen from 0.5 to 2.5... So once it goes down i can celebrate with a couple fishies? ^_^

Sounds like your cycle is going perfectly. Keep adding ammonia until your nitrites start zeroing like the ammonia is now. and then your cycle is complete. By then you should have very high nitrates so just do a massive water change, anywhere from 75 to 90% and then after a few hours of warming up and oxyginating, the tank should be ready for some fish! :good:
