Whitespot

all of our swordtails have little white spots on their tails , noticed it yesterday . we did a 50% water change as soon as we noticed it , however we have a small problem

dont think the tank is fully cycled yet , it is on day 45

stats are

ammonia - 0
nitrite - 1.5
nitrate - 50
ph 8.5 (which is odd because we did a ph test on our tap water and it is 6.5)

problem is can we dro any meds for the whitespot in for them? as the tank is still cycling ?

The nitrates are too high, do a 50% water change to bring them down.
As for the whitespot, try raising the temperature first before adding meds to around 34c and add extra aeration.
