Hey all, My dwarf gourami has just one little whitespot on the side of his mouth, that looks exactly like the ich. Im almost 100% sure thats what it is. I have another fish, one of my rasboras, who has clamped fins, and is swimming very jerkily, but he still eats and isnt hanging or on the bottom or anything. The one thing i noticed, is that the Black triangle in the back, seems to be regressing towards the center of his body, leaving a clear patch behind. None of the other Harlequins are showing this, and they are all doing well. Just wasnt sure what this might be, and im really not sure how to medicate for the ich, since i have the 3 khuli loaches.

Tank info:

10g:

1 Dwarf gourami (Ich?)
4 harlequin Rasboras ( 1 faded)
3 Khuli loaches (Doin Great)

Water Specs:

PH: 7.0
Nitrates: 5.0ppm
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm

The only thing i changed, is yesterday i turned off the airstone, because i had to reloacte my filter, and the gourami was having trouble finding a calm spot in the tank. PH changed by 0.1 from 6.9

I have Aquarisol here, that I iborrowed from my friend, but i havent added it yet, wasnt sure if it was a worthy medication or not, so if anyone has any advice on that it would be apprecaited as well.

Thanks

Need to no size of tank, plus water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, the whitespot does it look like a grain of salt, the harlequin never heard of this before, the pale bit behind does it look like a greyish white patch.

Tank is a 10g and water stats are listed above but here they are again anywho:

PH 7.0
Nitrate: 5 ppm
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0

The harlequin has no grey patch, its more of a loss of pigment.

Loss of pigment can be due to inbreeding, can you isolate it just to be on the safe side, any flicking and rubbing, the whitespot does it look like a grain of salt.

Yea, the whitespot does, which just adds to my suspicion that its ich. The Harlequin isnt rubbing at all, but he does flick his side around in the water, like hes tryin to shake something off, but i cant see anything on him at all.

OK i put him alone in the 2 gallon until this clears up

Might all well keep him in the tank sounds like he does have whitespot with the behaviour, just hasn't show up yet.
