Hi all
After a few hours of being in my tank my new bigger plec has come out in whitespot and so has my clown loach, its not too bad and theres no sign on my malawis ATM.
Ive since soaked their food in a little garlic guard liquid which is what did the trick when i first got my clown and he developed a little whitespot.
I have a whitespot treatment by waterlife called "Protozin". It states on the side of the bottle that it doesnt harm the beneficial bacteria in my filter although dont use if i have any Mormyrids,Rays or related species.
It also says in the instruction booklet that if there are loaches, botia etc in the tank then to half the dose.
Is it safe to use this stuff in my malawi tank? and are the guidelines theyve given sound right?
Cheers peeps
