I know havn't been on here in awhile. Job is busy.

Anyway This morning I noticed alot of little white wormlike things crawling on my tank sides. THe fish have been eating some and I am worried.

I have gotten a live plant bulb a week ago (could that brought them)
Also are they harmful to my fish?
Thanks

planaria nothing to worry about they are from over feeding and not enough cleaning, just reduce feeding and they should be reduced too

agreed with above post..sounds like planaria. cut back on feeding the fish and do a few good gravel vacs. in the meantime the fish get a nice tasty snack! (and no it wont harm them)
good luck

Thanks, Lol I cleaned the tank just a few days before this post. Well Lily had more babies, so I guess it is because I overfeed (2-3 times a day) . So I will only feed 2 times a day and clean it every 3-4 days instead of every week, since there are more babies.

I cleaned 3/4 of the tank (poor fish had to moved to the 10 gal while I cleaned the plants and decor and under gravel) yesturday and today not as many...just a few every once in awhile. I will do another 1/2 tank cleaning in a couple of days.

Anyway thanks again and I am glad they don't harm the fish. I didn't feed today because they are eating them...

Take care
