White Worm Like Things

today i noticed a mass of very small whit worm like things above the waterline in my 10g freshwater tank. Does anybody know what this could be, i'm scared it could be harmful to my fish and need to find out what it is. thank you for your time.

most likly planeria; often caused by overfeeding

planeria are not harmeful to fish and if you fast your fish for 5 days they will eat the planeria
