Hi i had my betta for a few week now and 2 or 3 days ago i noticed this white fluffy thing on its head, I didnt take much noticed because i thought it was a bit of fluff but now its still there. Any ideas of what its is?

Bit off topic but my betta started making a bubble nest not very good 1 though but it was his first try.

Urgh :crazy: difficult;
Two most likely ailments when white fluffy growth is involved are;

cotton wool disease (fungal)
or
columnaris (bacterial)

Its very hard to guess though, you could use a broad spectrum treatment if you can't suss out which it is (unlikely) with a little googling....
Maybe look for a treatment containing phenoxyethanol.

ok I will go to the pet shop tomorrow to get some stuff i just dont want Mr. Green to die

Try and get a decent pic up if you can, your description was basic (no offense) so it may be nothing, but from the description one of the two illnesses certainly sound likely....
:dunno:

Well I'll try to. I took another look and now it looks like a ring on his head

I cant get a close up i can only get one that you can hardly see the Betta. the white thing got bigger. I went to the pet shop on Saturday and bought some stuff cant remember what its called but when i got home the white thing was gone not even a mark. So i did a 100% water change and boiled all rocks and plants. Is this normal to disappear?
