I saw it here and they were actually selling it. sturgeons are a beauty i must say, but can you actually keep them.
 
They are really only suitable for large ponds. They are not a tropical fish, you would be much better off asking in the coldwater/ponds section :good:.

What troubles me about that link is they say they can reach up to 4', and yet a 180gallon is ok? :blink: :rolleyes:
 
white strugeon can grow to 20 ft long according to this, though i think thats a bit much but still a HUGE fish

Not that species, that site is just selling sterlets (Acipenser ruthenus) under a different name. Sterlets get much smaller, but still over a meter.

They are suitable for large ponds :good: .
 
This is a thread I started on Acipenser ruthenus some time back.

Note : I think the information given by Aquaria Central (post #2, link 2) is incorrect with regards to age (last paragragh, last sentence). Sterlets live upto around 20yrs where as stergeons live about 100yrs.
