The stuff on the clear pipe? It could just be calcium from where the water evaporates. Is your water quite hard?

i use tap water(of-course dechlorinated) ... i c those stuff in every corner of my tank (pic) n in the pipe also .... n dnt knw abt the harness  Untistled.jpg

How long has the tank been set up.

it looks like that harmless
white fungus you get when you set
up a new tank is it on the suckers
of the heater and the filter
and the seal around the tank

Thanks for the reply ,n can i just scrap them out ... n my barbs float vertically facing its head downwards, is the problem cause due to this white thing ? ...

Don't worry! It the way the make the plastic now! New plastic get this white stuff on it. Clean it off and it should only come back once or so. Just keep washing it off and it will stop growing.

No, it won't be due to the white fungus or whatever it is, but 'headstanding' in barbs is often a sign of high nitrites; I'd advise a test and a water change just in case.

do you know the stats on your tank
barbs doing head standing normally
means poor water quality

The white stuff pretty normal then in a newly set up tank.
It will disappear as the tank matures.
Just keep wiping it off for now.

Do the fish look bloated.
What does it look like when the fish go to the toilet?
