Hmm my angles front fins I can see about 1-3 small white spots also around 3 for the gourmi

Are the spots small like a sprinkle of salt?

What are your water stats?

How big is your tank?

What other fish do you have?

Will do the best i can to help you :good:

Sorry don't have a kit

65liters

black ghost goingto upgrade rank in future
I'm thinking of buying salt right now I was just wondering would my fish cope with the salt and will it work in my tank that hasn't cycled yet

I doubt salt will help at all.

Do the spots look like someone has sprinkled salt on the fish?

It could be a whitespot which is very easily treated.

What temperature is your tank?

My tank is at 25degree
I'm not sure if it looks like someone spinkle salt on it becuase there is t much on there but I think most likely it looks like spinkles of salt

Put your temperature up to 28degress as this will speed the life cycle of whitespot which is what this sounds like to me but i am going on little information so if anyone else tells you different then you should take that in too.

You'll need to buy a good whitespot remedy they are readily available at most LFS and LPS i think tetra does a good one.

Follow the instructions on the box and then treat for an extra 3 days after the white spots have gone to ensure that all the parasites in the water are killed off.

There is a pinned topic at the top of the emergency's section about whitespot and how to treat it.

If anything changes then post here and we will help you

Good luck.

Ty hmm someone said he saw myghost bite the gourami
whould any scar look like small white dots update I just got aqua master. Tri-sulfa tablets n used it hmm it also says slow flow rate of sub-gravel filteration what does that mean ? Should I turn air stone of

When medicating it is good to have an airstone to help oxygenate the tank.

I don't know anything about the tablets what are you using them for?

I doubt a shrimp would take on a gourami and leave a scar and all scars i have seen on fish havn't looked like white spots.
