I have 2 bettas both of them have white spots on their bodies and fins.
I got a blue liquid from a LFS. The shopkeeper told me to add 4-5 drops of the liquid in approx 500ml of water and dip the bettas in it for 20min and then put them back in fresh water.
I have done this and also added a thermostat and now the temperature has been increased to 25 deg C. It was on the lower side earlier.
The person also told me to check the water temperature and if the water feels normal to the hand, its ok.
After increasing the temperature, the white spots have suddenly increased. Pl. guide what to do.
Can I increase the temperature further? Is the process being done correct? The bettas have stopped eating as well.

Id suggest reading up on Ich - White Spot if this is what it is.
The whole tank will need treatment not just the fish as Ich attaches to plants etc in the tank during its process.
Rather than me ramble on about it have a read of this http://www.fishforever.co.uk/ich.html
