So yeh i brought a new betta, and after a week or so he got what i first thought where air bubbles stuck on him (the air pump on the filter puts out some very small bubbles) but then i realised it was white spot, it seemed to get a bit better by the time my treatment had arrived (wasnt prepared  ) the stuff ive got is Interpet Anti white spot, and i couldnt figure out the dose from the instructions (some confusing chart on how to work out your water volume then i cant find the dosage, proberly me being an idiot) , so i just put in 2 drops with the pipette to be safe and it looks today as if its got worse. Any ideas? whats the correct dosage for a 5 gallon tank keeping in mind ive got gravel/ornements does anybody know?

He seems ok in himself swimming around normally and eating

any help would be nice :good:

raise your temperature slowly to above 30C, whitespot cant live at that temp, keep it that way for aound a week to make sure it wil have gone

could you post the instructions I dont have that med to hand right now!

do ou have any idea of your water stats? ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?

Ok ill do that

havent got a nitrate testing kit others should be 0 or close to, ill do a test in a sec.

To be fair the instructions arnt that much help they basicly just explain what white spot is, says this stuff only treats the 'free swimming' stage of white spot and to raise the temp to 26 which my tanks already at. Says put into warm water before adding and take out carbon from filter. Cant actually find anything about dosage, has a big chart to help you calculate your water volume just have loads of numbers on it i have no idea.

check the actual bottle itself, interpet usually put it on there =]

And theres me thinking it would be in the instructions so didnt check the bottle

says 1 pipette (1ml) treats 2.2 gals, ill prob go with 1 and a half pipettes
