I have recently had white spot in my tank and lost several Clown loaches... I now only have one left which I know is not ideal however I don't want to add anymore untill I am 100% sure it has gone... Therefore I now have 1 Clown loach and 12 cardinal tetras, all the white spots have gone off all of the fish including the clown after treatment for a couple of weeks however he is still flicking his body against rocks/sand now and again. Is that a sign that white spot is still in the tank or normal behaviour?

Thanks

Water stats.
Is the clown loach skinny looking.
Need to find this info out first then go from there.

Tank is fully cycled everything that should be reading 0 is...

PH = 6.8

He doesn't look skinny at all and he's always wondering about in the plants looking for food

Have you done any water changes?
Added anything new such as chemicals or fish to the tank?
What size is your tank?
What is the temperature in the tank?

What substrate do you have is it sand.
I wouldn't do anything jsut for now, see if he settles down.

I've just had the same problem. Whitespot in my little Biorb which killed my siamese fighters male and three females this was when I introduced a couple of neons in the tank... Most upset!

I'm going to wait several weeks before buying anymore! Funnily enough the neons survived!

I did a 25% water change a few days ago after finishing the meds.
Nothing new added.
50gal (US)
Raised the temp while adding meds but dropping is gradually, it is currently running at 80F, but will be dropping it a little more.

Yep its sand

Did you run black carbon to get the med out.
Might be the temp and the med still in the water.
