Will pets@home white spot treatment kill the filter bacteria. I treated the tank for white spot and now the filter can't keep up with the load. Or is there any thing else that could of caused it.

Shouldnt be affecting the filter, id search for a new cause. Any recent additions or fish deaths? are their snals in the tank that could have died from teh ich treatment and are now adding to the ammonia in the tank? did you recently wash or replace any of the filter media?
For now lots of waterchanges and cut back on feeding to every other day until the filter sorts itself.
best of luck
cheers

No recent fish added, no missing fish I have vac the sand three times to make sure I have got every thing. I will keep testing and water changing until I get triple 0's again. How long do people think it will take for filter to build it's self back up.

depends on the stock before and after, rate of flow, how "established" existing filter was etc. Difficult to put a time-frame but those bacs generally multiply fairly rapidly once they are in the filter, so hopefully not too long for you and the fish.
all the best
cheers
