White Spot On Black Mollies

Can White spot appear on freshwater fish such as my black mollies. One does have a few spots and I want to know before it gets worse. Also how harmful is it and is there a cure.

Almost any fish can be susceptible to white spot or ich disease. I would google some images of white spot or ich and compare them to your fish just to be sure. It can be harmful if left untreated, but I have never lost a fish to ich. There are many different treatments available at your LFS ranging from fizzy ich tablets to chemicals... just follow the directions on the meds and your fish should be just fine!

I have loaded my video up on YouTube it is currently proccesing so wont be long till you can see it. The video is called My Fish Tank 160L 45G. You can see the fish which has got white spot in the video. I am treating the tank.
