I got spotted cories, was told today by Tizer on here that their proper name is Agassizi or something along that spelling! I see mine shuffling around for food, but don't seem to eat the pellets or other food I put down for them!!

Ok so now I'm confused. I've checked my neons again tonight and I can't see any spots on them?! I don't know if the White spot treatment is just amazing, or if i freaked out yesterday and it was nothing?
There were definitely small White spots in 3 of my 4 neons fins, but now there's no sign?

Hi Amy,the whitespot may be in its cycle, the cysts drop of and are then free swimming, which is the only time any meds work,if it was whitespot you must keep medicating or else they will just re-infect your fish

Yeah I've carried on with treatment anyway just incase. I'll continue to do so, but when do I know when to stop?

The normal lifespan of the whitespot parasite is 3 or 4 days at tropical temps; treat for 5 to be on the safe side and it should be all gone :)

I'll do my last lot on Thursday then and hope for the best haha. My fish are all acting fine, none are scratching on the gravel or bogwood and none are looking lethargic so I'm hoping I caught it in time.
I has horrible images of all my fish just floating and me having to start AAALLLL over again!!
Thanks for all your help guys, very appreciative!
Amy xx
