I'm using Kent R/O Right in my R/O water. I have white specks building up in my filter hoses and on the sides of my 30 gallon can in which I mix my water for water changes. Does anybody use Kent R/O right, and do you get any white specks ?? (I am using 2 teaspoons per 5 gallons). I did not get the specks until I started using the R/O Right.
Also, in another post regarding adding salt... poster said not to use salt if you have scaleless fish. I am planning to add some clown loaches. I do not add any salt to my tank, but the ingredients in Kent R/O Right includes "nearly neutral pH salts". So I'm wondering if that would be an issue with the loaches.
